Chêne Bleu “Aliot” 2015, IGP Vaucluse. I loved the artistic Medieval bottle label and I loved the wine inside, a rich blend of Roussanne (65%), white Grenache (30%) and Marsanne (5%). Aged in oak for eight months, this, too, is a Burgundian styled wine—rich, round and deep with baked yellow apples and a tinge of oxidization. It is glorious. At 14.5%, it’s no lightweight, so do as I did and have grilled sausages with this one. Click here for full article
