Chêne Bleu is located at La Verrière, in the Vaucluse region of Provence, nestled 550m (1700’) high at the edge of the 81,000 hectare (200,000-acre) protected UNESCO Biosphere Reserve of Mont Ventoux.  The property rests on the northern slopes of a spectacular limestone outcrop locally known as the Dentelles de Montmirail.  It is situated above Crestet, an unspoiled medieval hilltop village, ten minutes’ drive from Vaison-la-Romaine and 45 minutes northeast of Avignon.

La Verrière is run in an ecologically responsible way.  Our private forest is managed in a sustainable manner according to strict standards set and monitored by the PEFC (Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) in order to preserve the welfare of its native fauna and flora.
